We are situated in Canterbury, New Zealand and run a small flock of Gotland sheep.
Our farm is called ‘silva kurls’ because Gotland sheep are bred for their lustrous (silver curls); having all colours relating to grey from silver through to charcoal.
Our aim is to promote Gotland sheep as a New Zealand Rare breed and encourage craft-makers and others to use New Zealand Gotland wool.
